coreTA – Torque Adapter

Universal, digital torque adapter with free app for seamless torque monitoring of various tightening applications.

  • Simple linking of screwdriving case and documentation
  • Compatible with various screwdrivers, including electric screwdrivers
  • Open architecture: integration into existing systems possible

Pilot program: coreTA is currently in the pilot phase. We are delivering to selected users and are actively developing the product further with their feedback. Delivery time: approx. 4-6 weeks.

coreTA - Torque Adapter

coreTA – Torque Adapter connects torque wrench and smartphone and enables screw joint documentation without separate data transfer. The screw joint, target values and tolerances are stored directly on the component using a QR code, the screw joint is recorded live in the coreVIEWER app and automatically documented. When the tool is loosened, the PDF report including the target value, peak value, photo and GPS is already ready – without cables, without manual assignment, without forgotten logs.

coreTA – Torque Adapter can be used universally: The adapter fits mechanical torque wrenches, conventional wrenches, screwdrivers and cordless screwdrivers – wherever screwdriving is required to be documented. Waterproof and dustproof design, compact and robust for reliable use on the construction site, in the workshop, in service or in the field. Can be ordered up to 200 Nm in ½ inch version, an 800 Nm version in ¾ inch is available in the pilot program. Made in Germany – development, production and calibration in Darmstadt.

Create screw case

Define the designation, target torque, tolerance window and acoustic feedback once in the app – or simply scan the QR code on the component, then all values are automatically stored. Even before tightening, it is clear what is to be tightened where and to what torque.

Set parameters

Target torque, upper and lower tolerance threshold, acoustic feedback and the scaling of the live display are stored in a clearly arranged mask. Mandatory fields, standard values and designations can be preconfigured to customer specifications on request.

Perform screw connection

A large radial gauge displays the current torque in real time, with a green OK area and red NOK areas for the lower and upper tolerance limits. Notes, batch or a component photo can be recorded directly.

An audible signal confirms that the setpoint has been reached, and a warning tone indicates that the speed has exceeded the upper tolerance limit.

End screw

During tightening, the live display continuously shows the torque, peak value and status. As soon as the tightening process is complete, the highest measured value is adopted as the final torque at the touch of a button.

If the peak value is outside the tolerance window, the NOK screw connection must be actively acknowledged – so no critical screw goes through unnoticed.

OK acknowledgement

If the peak value is cleanly within the green tolerance window, the screw connection is confirmed as OK at the touch of a button and automatically transferred to the project documentation. Optionally, the screw head designation, batch and a comment can be added – subsequent corrections or repeat measurements are possible at any time.

NOK handling and acknowledgement

If the peak value is outside the tolerance window, the app blocks the further workflow and forces a conscious decision. The NOK tightening must be actively acknowledged, provided with a comment and included in the report – optionally with repeat measurement. This ensures that no critical screw slips through unnoticed and that every special case is properly documented.

Documentation

After each tightening operation, a PDF report is available at the touch of a button – without reworking, without an export step. The report contains the status (OK / NOK), component designation and tightening case, target value with tolerance window, measured peak value, the complete torque curve as a chart, time stamp, GPS position and a photo of the component. Logo, branding and mandatory fields can be customized.

For further processing in the QA or DMS system, we deliver the complete package as a ZIP: PDF, CSV raw data of the entire screwdriving curve, original photos and metadata as JSON. Shared directly from the app via email, cloud, messenger – or live via coreCLOUD upload and gateway connection to your systems.

coreSPC Benefits

  • Screwdriving case and documentation are linked automatically – no manual matching, no typing on the component
  • Can be used universally on mechanical torque wrenches, conventional wrenches, screwdrivers and cordless screwdrivers
  • QR code workflow directly on the component: target values, tolerances and designation are immediately available in the app
  • PDF report with target value, peak value, torque curve, photo and GPS – ready when the tool is released
  • Waterproof and dustproof, robust for workshop, maintenance, field service and construction site
  • Fail-safe thanks to NOK lock: screw connections outside the tolerance must be actively acknowledged
  • Live cloud upload via coreCLOUD optional, connection to QA and DMS systems via gateway or API
  • App coreVIEWER free of charge for iOS and Android – customizable on request (mandatory fields, report layout, logo)
  • Stable, energy-efficient Bluetooth connection, battery life of several weeks in continuous use
