III. Information on data processing

Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, there are no statutory retention obligations preventing the deletion of the data, and no other information is provided below regarding individual processing procedures.

Server data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable Internet presence, data is transmitted to us or to our web space provider by your Internet browser. With these so-called server log files, the type and version of your Internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you have switched to our Internet presence (referrer URL), the website(s) of our Internet presence that you visit, the date and time of the respective access and the IP address of the Internet connection from which the use of our Internet presence takes place are collected, among other things.
The data collected in this way is stored temporarily, but not together with other data about you.
This storage takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our website.
The data will be deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further storage is required for evidence purposes. Otherwise, the data will be exempt from deletion in whole or in part until the incident has been finally clarified.

Cookies

a) Session cookies

We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are placed and stored on your end device by the Internet browser you use. These cookies are used to process certain information about you, such as your browser or location data or your IP address, on an individual basis.
This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective and secure, as the processing makes it possible, for example, to display our website in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies process data for the initiation or execution of a contract.
If the processing does not serve to initiate or process a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis in this case is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
These session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.

b) Third-party cookies

If necessary, cookies from partner companies with whom we work for the purpose of advertising, analysis, or the functionalities of our website are also used on our website.
Please refer to the following information for details, in particular regarding the purposes and legal bases for processing such third-party cookies.

c) Option for removal

You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by changing the settings of your Internet browser. You can also delete cookies that have already been saved at any time. However, the steps and measures required for this depend on the specific Internet browser you are using. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your Internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support. In the case of so-called Flash cookies, however, processing cannot be prevented via the browser settings. Instead, you must change the settings of your Flash player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on the specific Flash player you are using. If you have any questions, please also use the help function or documentation of your Flash player or contact the manufacturer or user support.
However, if you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may mean that not all functions of our website can be used to their full extent.

Contact requests / Contact options

If you contact us via contact form or e-mail, the data you provide will be used to process your request. The provision of this data is necessary for processing and answering your request – without it we cannot answer your request or can only answer it to a limited extent.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted if your request has been conclusively answered and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations, such as in the event of any subsequent contract processing.

YouTube

We maintain an online presence on YouTube to present our company and our services and to communicate with customers/prospects. YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA.
In this respect, we would like to point out that there is a possibility that user data may be processed outside the European Union, in particular in the USA. This may result in increased risks for users in that, for example, subsequent access to user data may be made more difficult. We also have no access to this user data. The possibility of access lies exclusively with YouTube. Google LLC is certified under the Privacy Shield and has therefore undertaken to comply with European data protection standards

Social media linking via graphic or text link

We also advertise presences on the social networks listed below on our website. The integration takes place via a linked graphic of the respective network. The use of this linked graphic prevents the automatic establishment of a connection to the respective server of the social network when a website with a social media advertisement is called up in order to display a graphic of the respective network itself. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic is the user redirected to the service of the respective social network.

After the user has been forwarded, the respective network collects information about the user. It cannot be ruled out that the data collected in this way will be processed in the USA.
This is initially data such as IP address, date, time and page visited. If the user is logged into their user account on the respective network during this time, the network operator may be able to assign the information collected about the user’s specific visit to the user’s personal account. If the user interacts via a “Share” button of the respective network, this information can be stored in the user’s personal user account and published if necessary. If the user wishes to prevent the information collected from being directly assigned to their user account, they must log out before clicking on the graphic. It is also possible to configure the respective user account accordingly.

The following social networks are integrated into our website via links:

Google Ads with remarketing pixel

We use Google Ads on our website, an online service that enables the placement of advertising on third-party sites, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Ads is based on an algorithm that selects the ads displayed on our website to match our content. Google Ads enables interest-based targeting of all visitors by creating individual user profiles. Google uses cookies for this purpose. Each time you access a page on our website on which a Google Ads component has been integrated, your browser on your device is automatically prompted to transmit data to Google Ads for the purposes of online advertising and commission billing. In this way, Google obtains knowledge of personal data that Google uses to determine the type of advertising to be displayed and to track clicks on this advertising. Among other things, Google can recognize that you clicked on the advertising on this website.

Google also uses tracking pixels, a miniature graphic embedded in websites to enable log file recording and log file analysis, which allows a statistical evaluation to be carried out. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, Google can recognize whether and when a website was opened and which links were clicked. We only learn the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that would allow users to be personally identified.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data, provided you have given your consent in this regard, is Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

You can give your consent via our cookie banner and withdraw it at any time in the settings with effect for the future.

For more information on data protection, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to simply as “Google”.
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield (“EU-US Privacy Shield”) https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that the EU’s data protection requirements are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our website.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. This function allows Google to shorten the IP address within the EU or EEA.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website and the usage activities there. This data may also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the use of the Internet.

Google states that it will not associate your IP address with any other data. In addition, Google keeps
https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners

further data protection information for you, e.g. also on the options for preventing the use of data.
In addition, Google offers under

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
a so-called deactivation add-on along with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with common internet browsers and gives you more control over the data that Google collects when you access our website. In doing so, the add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information about visits to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services. Whether and which other web analytics services we use is, of course, also stated in this Privacy Policy.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Tag Manager bundles most tracking pixels and scripts so that, as a user, you can load our website faster. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage so-called website tags via an interface and thus integrate, for example, Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offering. You can find out which data may be processed as part of the other Google services from the information in this Privacy Policy. Google only learns your IP address, which is necessary to run Google Tag Manager. However, no personal data is processed.

For more information about Google Tag Manager, please refer to the Tag Manager Terms of Use https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA on our website to check and prevent interactions on our website by automated access, e.g. by so-called bots. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield (“EU-US Privacy Shield”)
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
Google guarantees that the EU’s data protection requirements are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

This service enables Google to determine from which website a request is sent and from which IP address you use the so-called reCAPTCHA input box. In addition to your IP address, Google may also collect other information that is necessary for the provision and assurance of this service.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the security of our website and in defending against unwanted, automated access in the form of spam or similar.
Google provides under: https://policies.google.com/privacy
further information on the general handling of your user data.

Google Fonts

We use external web fonts such as Google Fonts to display text in different typefaces. For this purpose, a connection is established to the respective web font provider and personal data such as IP address and other device data is transmitted to it. The web font provider uses the data exclusively to display the fonts and to analyze their popularity. The legal basis is legitimate interests (Art. 6(1) lit. f) GDPR). We have a legitimate interest in displaying content on our website consistently and with an appropriate loading time.

HubSpot

We use HubSpot on our website, a service provided by HubSpot Inc., a software company from the USA with a European branch at HubSpot, 2nd Floor 30 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland (“HubSpot”).

We use HubSpot to contact users of our website and to determine which services offered by our company are of interest to you. We therefore use HubSpot for analysis purposes as well as for marketing purposes.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data, provided you have given your consent in this regard, is Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

You can give your consent via our cookie banner and withdraw it at any time in the settings with effect for the future.

Further information can be found in HubSpot’s Privacy Policy https://legal.hubspot.com/de/privacy-policy entnehmen.

YouTube

We use YouTube on our website. This is a video portal operated by YouTube LLC., 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, hereinafter referred to simply as “YouTube”.
YouTube is a subsidiary of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to simply as “Google”.
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield (“EU-US Privacy Shield”)
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
Google, and therefore also its subsidiary YouTube, guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA. We use YouTube in connection with the “extended data protection mode” function in order to be able to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the “Extended data protection mode” function means that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to the YouTube server when you actually start a video.
Without this “Enhanced Privacy”, a connection to YouTube’s server in the USA is established as soon as you access one of our web pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.
This connection is necessary in order to be able to display the respective video on our website via your internet browser. In the course of this, YouTube will at least record and process your IP address, the date and time and the website you have visited. In addition, a connection to the “DoubleClick” advertising network from Google is established.
If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube will assign the connection information to your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or make the appropriate settings in your YouTube user account.
For the purpose of functionality and analysis of user behavior, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your end device via your Internet browser. If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the storage of cookies by changing the settings in your Internet browser. You can find more information on this above under “Cookies”.
Further information about the collection and use of data as well as your rights and options for protection in this regard is provided by Google in the data protection notices available at
https://policies.google.com/privacy
.

Leadinfo

We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands. It identifies visits by companies to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies to analyze user behavior on our website and processes domains from form entries (e.g., “leadinfo.com”) to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve the services. Further information can be found at www.leadinfo.com. On this page: www.leadinfo.com/en/opt-out you have an opt-out option.
