The German Engineering Federation (VDMA) is one of the most important representatives of the capital goods industry in Germany and Europe. It represents more than 3,200 mechanical engineering companies, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large corporations. VDMA is active in various areas such as technology policy, economics, standardization, and internationalization to represent the interests of its members and improve the framework conditions for the industry.
core sensing member of the German Engineering Federation
Since the beginning of the year, core sensing has been a member of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), the largest association of the capital goods industry. The company offers IoT sensor solutions and works together with its partners from mechanical and plant engineering to optimize processes, implement solutions for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring, and prepare mechanical engineering for digitalization.
Simon Krech, co-founder and managing director of core sensing: “The decision to join VDMA was a logical step for us. In 2022, we had the honor of pitching as a finalist for the prestigious Maschinenbau-Gipfel Startup Award. The impressive performance and support we received from the association and Startup Machine deeply impressed us and strengthened our resolve. We look forward to innovation and collaboration within VDMA!”
Driving force for digitalization in mechanical engineering
Christoph Miks, Director Customer Solutions at core sensing, also emphasizes the importance of various events such as workshops, working groups, and conferences, which enable the young technology company to stay at the cutting edge and exchange ideas with experts to receive valuable feedback.
With a clear focus on digitalization and the goal of revolutionizing the industry, Christoph Miks is convinced: “Digitalization is our passion and we want to drive the industry forward and enable companies with the missing pieces of the puzzle they need to take this step. I firmly believe that from the symbiosis between young tech companies and the traditional mechanical engineering companies that have shaped our market economy, a great, digital, and sustainable future can emerge.”
