coreIN
coreIN with patented press-fit process for deep integration
The non-positive press-fit process of the coreIN deformation body, applied with strain gauges, is unique on the market. The press-fitting—the connection of the mechanical component and coreIN—is performed at core sensing; for increasing quantities of an OEM product, the process setup can be established at the customer’s site.
Proven strain gauges as a sensor basis
The strain gauges are applied to the compact geometry of the coreIN deformation bodies. This ensures that the appropriate tools and fixtures are available for high-quality application. All coreIN sensors are equipped with strain gauges using hot-curing application.
Installation space for sensor integration
The required installation space for the individual components varies depending on the available inner diameter. A precise installation space analysis should be discussed during an orientation call. To provide an initial impression, here are some key data points:
- Internal diameter 14 mm to 100 mm
- coreIN length approx. 30 mm
- Standard measuring electronics length approx. 50 mm
Options for data transmission and power supply
Data transmission is usually carried out via Bluetooth Low Energy. If the sensor is not a rotating or moving component, a wired solution may also be advantageous.
The standard power supply we select is a rechargeable Li-ion battery with the highest capacity the installation space allows. For higher temperatures or permanent measuring tasks, a battery or inductive power supply can also be chosen.
Adjustable sensor configuration
There is a conflict of objectives between maximizing available data and energy efficiency. Therefore, the sensor can be configured individually. Additional sensors for speed, acceleration, and temperature are available as standard. The transmission rate is a maximum of 1,000 sps.
Easy integration via app and standard interfaces
There are many ways to obtain measurement data. For coreIN sensors that also use measuring electronics from core sensing, the following interfaces are particularly suitable:
- coreVIEWER app for visualizing and recording data
- coreGATE gateway for 0–10V, USB, CANBUS, TCP/IP, MQTT
- coreCLOUD dashboard for visualization in the cloud
- Documented API for BLE signals
coreIN sensors are robust and well-protected
Due to their position inside the component, coreIN sensors are inherently well-protected. Depending on the application, a high protection class for challenging environments can be achieved through potting.
From quantity 1 to series production
coreIN sensors are ideally suited for obtaining measurement data from a mechanically unchanged environment. However, the technology is also ideal for OEM products and series production.

Custom coreIN sensors
- Please share the key data of your planned sensor integration with us in an email, feel free to include drawings, images, and CAD files.
- In an initial orientation meeting, a sensor specialist will discuss the feasibility and desired configuration of the sensor, as well as any special requirements. The design will also consider the expected resolution and quality of the sensor.
- We will prepare a quote for the sensor; we can calculate with parts provided by you or have them manufactured by our partners. A typical delivery time for new coreIN sensors is 8 weeks after order placement.
- After delivery, a brief remote commissioning or instruction is included in our offer. If desired, our Data Science specialists can assist with the evaluation and processing of measurement data.
e offer transducers for different application scenarios: from hand-held screwing machines to excavator attachments and dedicated screwing vehicles. With the appropriate adapters, almost any combination is possible.
