Monitoring torque, speed, and position – the iBK makes it possible
The iBK is an innovative coupling that enables efficient monitoring of torque, speed, and position using integrated sensors. Measurement data is continuously recorded, evaluated, and transmitted. This allows overloads and operating states to be precisely detected. Integration into existing systems is also possible, as the iBK can function as an “intelligence implant.”
Smart and efficient – the advantages of the iBK
Compared to previous intelligent bellows couplings from R+W, the iBK is shorter, and the measurement data obtained can be transferred directly to the cloud, to a mobile device, or via gateways. The internal electronics process the data directly and transmit it simultaneously to a connected mobile device or via a gateway directly to the machine control system or a PC.
R+W App – measurement data at a glance
With the specially developed R+W app, measurement data can be displayed and recorded easily and intuitively. The clear presentation of all measured values, including average and extreme values, as well as graphical representation in time-dependent diagrams or X-Y charts, simplify data evaluation. Up to four connected sensor units can be used simultaneously, and a recording function for all measured values allows data export in CSV format. Additionally, the app provides information and settings for the intelligent coupling and the R+W gateway.
