With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, insofar as we decide either alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of processing. In addition, we inform you below about the third-party components we use for optimization purposes and to increase the quality of use, insofar as third parties process data under their own responsibility.

Our privacy policy is structured as follows:

III. Information on data processing

Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, there are no statutory retention obligations preventing the deletion of the data, and no other information is provided below regarding individual processing procedures.

Server data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or to our web space provider. These so-called server log files collect, among other things, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the website(s) of our website that you visit, the date and time of the respective access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which our website is used.
This data collected in this way is stored temporarily, but not together with other data from you.
This storage takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.
The data will be deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further storage is required for evidentiary purposes. Otherwise, the data is excluded from deletion in whole or in part until the final clarification of an incident.

Cookies

a) Session cookies

We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are placed and stored on your end device by the internet browser you use. Through these cookies, certain information from you, such as your browser or location data or your IP address, is processed to an individual extent.
This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure, as the processing enables, for example, the display of our website in different languages or the offering of a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, provided that these cookies process data for contract initiation or contract execution.
If the processing does not serve contract initiation or contract execution, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
These session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.

b) Third-party cookies

If necessary, cookies from partner companies with whom we work for the purpose of advertising, analysis, or the functionalities of our website are also used on our website.
Please refer to the following information for details, in particular regarding the purposes and legal bases for processing such third-party cookies.

c) Option for removal

You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting your internet browser settings. You can also delete already stored cookies at any time. However, the steps and measures required for this depend on the specific internet browser you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support. In the case of so-called flash cookies, however, processing cannot be prevented via the browser settings. Instead, you must change the settings of your Flash player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on the specific Flash player you use. If you have any questions, please also use the help function or documentation of your Flash player or contact the manufacturer or user support.
If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may, however, lead to not all functions of our website being fully usable.

Contact requests / Contact options

If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your request. Providing the data is necessary for processing and answering your request – without its provision, we cannot answer your request or can only do so to a limited extent.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your request has been finally answered and there are no statutory retention obligations preventing deletion, such as in the case of any subsequent contract execution.

YouTube

We maintain an online presence on YouTube to present our company and our services and to communicate with customers/interested parties. YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA.
In this respect, we point out that there is a possibility that user data may be processed outside the European Union, in particular in the USA. This can result in increased risks for users insofar as, for example, subsequent access to user data may be made more difficult. We also have no access to this user data. Access is exclusively with YouTube. Google LLC is certified under the Privacy Shield and has thus committed to complying with European data protection standards.

You can find YouTube’s privacy policy at:

Social media linking via graphic or text link

We also promote presences on the social networks listed below on our website. The integration takes place via a linked graphic of the respective network. The use of this linked graphic prevents a connection to the respective server of the social network from being automatically established when a website that has a social media advertisement is called up, in order to display a graphic of the respective network itself. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic is the user forwarded to the service of the respective social network.

After the user has been forwarded, information about the user is collected by the respective network. It cannot be excluded that processing of the data collected in this way takes place in the USA.
This initially includes data such as IP address, date, time, and the page visited. If the user is logged into their user account of the respective network during this time, the network operator may be able to assign the collected information of the specific visit of the user to the user’s personal account. If the user interacts via a “share” button of the respective network, this information can be stored in the user’s personal user account and possibly published. If the user wants to prevent the collected information from being directly assigned to their user account, they must log out before clicking on the graphic. In addition, there is the possibility of configuring the respective user account accordingly.

The following social networks are integrated into our site by linking:

Google

Google Ads with Remarketing Pixel

We use Google Ads on our website, an online service that enables the placement of advertisements on third-party sites, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Ads is based on an algorithm that selects the advertisements displayed on our website to match our content. Google Ads allows interest-based targeting of all visitors, which is done by creating individual user profiles. Google uses cookies for this purpose. With every single call-up of a page of our website on which a component of Google Ads has been integrated, your browser is automatically prompted on your end device to transmit data to Google Ads for the purpose of online advertising and the settlement of commissions. In this way, Google receives knowledge of personal data that Google uses to determine the type of advertising to be displayed and to be able to track clicks on this advertising. Among other things, Google can recognize that you have clicked on the advertisement on this website.

Google also uses tracking pixels, a miniature graphic embedded in websites to enable log file recording and log file analysis, which allows for statistical evaluation. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, Google can recognize if and when a website was opened and which links were clicked. We only learn the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page provided with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, provided you have given your consent.

You can give your consent via our cookie banner and revoke it at any time in the settings with effect for the future.

Further information on data protection can be found in Google’s privacy policy https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to simply as “Google”.
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that EU data protection requirements are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our website.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. Through this function, Google shortens the IP address within the EU or the EEA.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website and the usage activities there. This data can also be used to provide further services related to the use of our website and the use of the internet.

Google states that it will not associate your IP address with any other data. In addition, Google provides
https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners

further data protection information for you, for example, on the options for preventing data use.
In addition, Google offers

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
a so-called deactivation add-on along with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with common internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when you call up our website. The add-on tells the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information about the visit to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services. You will, of course, also find out in this privacy policy whether and which other web analysis services are used by us.

Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

The Google Tag Manager combines most tracking pixels and scripts so that you as a user can load our website faster. The Google Tag Manager is a solution with which we can manage so-called website tags via an interface and thus, for example, integrate Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offer. Which data is processed within the scope of other Google services can be found in the information in this privacy policy. Google only learns your IP address, which is necessary to run the Google Tag Manager. However, no personal data from you is processed.

Further information on the Google Tag Manager can be found in the Tag Manager terms of use https://www.google.com/intl/en/tagmanager/use-policy.html.

Google reCAPTCHA

On our website, we use Google reCAPTCHA to check and prevent interactions on our website through automated access, e.g., by so-called bots. This is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to simply as “Google”.
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
Google guarantees that EU data protection requirements are also complied with when processing data in the USA.

Through this service, Google can determine from which website a request is sent and from which IP address you use the so-called reCAPTCHA input box. In addition to your IP address, other information may be collected by Google that is necessary for the provision and guarantee of this service.
The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the security of our website and in the defense against unwanted, automated access in the form of spam or similar.
Google offers further information on the general handling of your user data at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Fonts

We use external web fonts such as Google Fonts to display texts in different fonts. For this purpose, a connection to the respective web font provider is established and personal data such as IP address and other device data are transmitted to them. The web font provider uses the data exclusively for displaying the fonts and analyzing their popularity. The legal basis is legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR). We have a legitimate interest in displaying content on our website uniformly and in an appropriate loading time.

HubSpot

We use HubSpot on our websites, a service of HubSpot Inc, a software company from the USA with a European branch at HubSpot, 2nd Floor 30 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland (“HubSpot”).

We use HubSpot to contact users of our website and to determine which services of our company are of interest to you. We therefore use HubSpot for analysis purposes as well as for marketing purposes.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, provided you have given your consent.

You can give your consent via our cookie banner and revoke it at any time in the settings with effect for the future.

Further information can be found in HubSpot’s privacy policy https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

YouTube

We use YouTube on our website. This is a video portal of YouTube LLC., 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, hereinafter referred to simply as “YouTube”.
YouTube is a subsidiary of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to simply as “Google”.
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
Google and thus also the subsidiary YouTube guarantee that EU data protection requirements are also complied with when processing data in the USA. We use YouTube in connection with the “Enhanced Privacy Mode” function to be able to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the “Enhanced Privacy Mode” function means that the data described in more detail below is only transmitted to the YouTube server when you actually start a video.
Without this “Enhanced Privacy,” a connection to the YouTube server in the USA is established as soon as you call up one of our internet pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.
This connection is required to be able to display the respective video on our website via your internet browser. In the course of this, YouTube will at least collect and process your IP address, the date and time, and the website you visited. In addition, a connection to Google’s “DoubleClick” advertising network is established.
If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube assigns the connection information to your YouTube account. If you want to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or make the appropriate settings in your YouTube user account.
For the purpose of functionality and to analyze usage behavior, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your end device via your internet browser. If you do not agree with this processing, you have the option of preventing the storage of cookies by adjusting your internet browser settings. Further information on this can be found above under “Cookies”.
Google provides further information about the collection and use of data as well as your rights and protection options in this regard in the privacy policy available at
https://policies.google.com/privacy
.

Leadinfo

We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands. This recognizes visits from companies to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies to evaluate user behavior on our website and processes domains from form entries (e.g., “leadinfo.com”) to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve services.
