The \u201cwhy\u201d has now been answered\u2014today, the focus is clearly on the \u201chow\u201d. <\/p><p>Construction machinery has its own specific requirements when it comes to sensors and condition monitoring:&nbsp;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-210528a elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"210528a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>They are often highly customized, produced in small quantities, and play a central role in operations\u2014downtime is therefore associated with high costs and must be avoided at all costs. At the same time, operating conditions are extreme\u2014far removed from typical industrial or laboratory environments. <\/p><p>This is exactly where our integrated, application-specific sensor solutions for force and torque measurement provide decisive added value. Accordingly, visitor interest in our systems for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance was very high. &nbsp;<\/p><h4>Condition monitoring for conveyor systems through networked monitoring of rolling bearings in carrying idlers in cooperation with Artur K\u00fcpper GmbH &amp; Co. KG<\/h4><p>Bulk material conveyor belts are key elements of the value chain in many material-handling industries. Unplanned downtime caused by bearing wear on carrying idlers must be avoided at all costs\u2014until now, this has usually been done through time-consuming, manually performed inspections that are difficult to track. &nbsp;<br>Together with our partner Artur K\u00fcpper, we have introduced the Sensing Idler Wireless: an easily integrable temperature sensor that continuously monitors the condition of the bearings inside the carrying rollers and transmits the data to the cloud via a networked wireless system. This significantly reduces the risk of failure and sustainably lowers process costs. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kuepper.eu\/\">https:\/\/www.kuepper.eu\/<\/a><\/p><h4>\u201cXtraSense\u201d \u2013 condition monitoring and assistance system for tilt rotators and slewing drives in cooperation with HKS<\/h4><p>Slewing drives enable precise and flexible positioning of attachments\u2014an essential efficiency factor on the construction site. Fewer repositioning operations not only speed up work processes, but also protect the ground. &nbsp;<br>In collaboration with core sensing, XtraSense was developed\u2014an innovative, load-measuring variant of the tilt rotator. The wireless torque transducer coreFLANGE provides precise insights into the drilling process for the first time and delivers reliable, documentable process data directly from the field. &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/emde-bohrtechnik.de\/\">https:\/\/emde-bohrtechnik.de\/<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guh-messtec.de\/\">https:\/\/www.guh-messtec.de\/<\/a><\/p><h4>Condition monitoring of bolted joints using strain-gauge-based force sensing<\/h4><p>There are various approaches to sensor-based bolts on the market. Our concept is based on proven coreIN technology and combines precise measurement using strain gauges with modern IoT connectivity. &nbsp;<br>Our smart bolts are currently in the pilot phase and are not yet commercially available. They enable the measurement of axial forces, bending moments and torques\u2014making them ideal for demanding applications across a wide range of fields. &nbsp;<\/p><h4>Vibration and acceleration sensors for condition monitoring of construction machinery and mining<\/h4><p>Vibration and acceleration sensors have long been established in condition monitoring across many industries.
