The conveyor systems used operate 24\/7 and are a central component of the loading processes. Unexpected downtimes are correspondingly critical \u2013 especially in the area of conveyor belts, which in many cases act as bottlenecks.  &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As part of a test installation, the Sensing Idler \u2013 a sensor-monitored idler for condition monitoring \u2013 was integrated into an existing conveyor line. The installation is carried out in cooperation between the component manufacturer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kuepper.eu\/\">Artur K\u00fcpper GmbH &amp; Co. KG<\/a>, the operator HES International and the development partner core sensing. <\/p>\n<h3>Objectives at a glance<\/h3>\n<p>The aim of the cooperation is to test the system under real operating conditions and thereby gain insights for possible future applications. The focus is on continuous condition monitoring of the idlers in order to detect wear at an early stage and support maintenance processes based on data. This further installation serves the joint validation of the Sensing Idler in an industrial environment. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section
